Multiple Industrial Units

A new commercial site.

Spec Projects who we work with on multiple projects a year were awarded this project by their client and appointed JRC as the steelwork and cladding contractor to build 5 units on a site in Worthing. Spec demolished some existing buildings, levelled the site and prepared the foundations ready for us to erect the frames.

A familiar job.

We have been fortunate enough to work on several projects with Spec and their same end client on units like this all over the South coast. We used our regular, professional team of draughtsmen and engineers to ensure the same principals were used as the last projects in order to provide the same quality finish of buildings.

Continuity on site.

On projects where there are multiple units, it is important to ensure that there is continuity of work on site for us and our clients other works. We do this by agreeing a site programme before commencing works and managing any issues which may arise together. On this project, we used a second site team to ensure the units were erected ready for the clients brick workers to start their works.

Finishing off the job.

The details of the job are crucial to how the building performs and also to the final look of the building. As well as working with the site teams throughout the job, we make sure we walk around the buildings with the site team and with the client to pick up on any alterations required. If any issues arise, we are quick to return and take care of our work.
